Living at Chautauqua has been really rewarding so far. The people who work in the office are always really friendly and professional, the complex landscaping is really kept up and taken care of, and the pool and spa have been nice lately because even though it's been warm I haven't seen many people in them.

It's usually really quiet here, except for some random outside noises at night. My only grievance about noise doesn't have to do with neighbors or thin walls but with the early-morning landscaping and construction. For some reason, I was not informed that construction would be done on my roof at early hours. However, it's really not that bad, and it's not cause for complaint if you're not too sensitive about noise.

My apartment is the studio with a loft, and really the loft makes all the difference. I've heard the studios compared to caves, and they're not kidding. I get a really high ceiling, a window in my "bedroom," and the separation between the living area and my room makes it seem really homey and comfortable. Plus, it always stays really nice and warm in my place on cold days because it's so compact.

The free Internet from Omsoft was really slow, so I upgraded but for a lower fee because of the already free basic service.

Admittedly, the bathrooms seem a bit dorm-y because of the plastic things on the bottoms of the walls, but the shower tub is HUGE and I have tons of storage and closet space. All of my appliances have been working well, and maintenance is super fast when you need something to be serviced.

If you choose an apartment close to the bus stop, a parking lot, the trash/recycling area, the mailboxes, and the laundry room, you really don't have to walk far at all. I've only had trouble finding parking twice, and that's because of people who don't live here taking over all the spaces. Unfortunately when the office signs for packages, they keep them in the office so you can't get them after 5:30 or on weekends, but I know this is pretty standard for an apartment complex.

I highly, highly recommend living here! I honestly don't dislike anything about this place except for the fact that they don't allow pets. :)
