I lived here 3 years before I could afford moving out. The place is very old and simple things like wood railings are often warped and the paint is cracked. Even trying to move in using a dolly or something similar is difficult because the sidewalks are incredibly uneven and cracked in several places.
Anyway, the insides are ok, they are fairly big considering the rent price, but it looks kinda cheap (70s wood paneling in my place, brown carpet).
Also, the other reviews are right, the area is not the best in Davis -- and while Davis is a far cry from the ghetto -- if there were one, this area would be it. Down the street, across from the abandoned supermarket is where some crack houses used to be.
There are a lot of families with kids here as well, if you mind that sort of thing.
Parking is also really difficult at night, but then again, it is in a lot of places in Davis. Also, the parking lot is embraced by these large bushes that sprout flowers which fall and stick to your car in the Fall -- you need a carwash to get them off.
