Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2003
As soon as the complex was sold and new managment took over, everything fell apart (2002). We've lived here three years and had very little to complain about. This is one of the best bargains in Davis, and one of the few places that allows pets. A college student supporting his/herself couldn't find a better deal. HOWEVER, after being accustomed to the previous management, who managed to fix problems within 24 hours, from clogged drains to broken heaters, we were sorely disappointed to find that the new management made us wait three weeks, in the middle of winter, to have our heater fixed, thought it not a problem that we had no hot water for four days, and decided to increase the rent by $100 per month for a small one bedroom apartment. Also, the cockroach problem raged out of control, but they suggested that we simply buy more roach motels. Apparently, they think this is San Francisco or similar. We are as poor as it gets, but we are MOVING. I'll pay a bit more for good service and a kitchen bigger than a shoebox.
