I am currently finishing up my 6 month lease here and that was 6 months too long. The managers keep changing including a period of 4 months where there was no manager. The new manager likes to think of tenants as her "children" and not as paying residents. She seems nice at first then has a nasty habit of blowing off conflict and following lease agreements. There is no maintenance or emergancy number to call when something breaks. I had a broken toilet for 4 days before they finally "fixed it" although it is still a pain to work with at least it works. When 2am Parties break out management doesn't want to do anything about it, does not take noise complaints seriously brushing it off as "they are only listening to music," no s#&% Sherlock, but why do I have to tolerate headaches from it every day all day long' Managment also fails to address verbal harassment or idoidic neighbors who also throw large objects such as food and ice chests down a well used walkway almost hitting bystanders, not to mention the extremely loud swearing every night of such neighbors until midnight. This place is a joke, there are many empty units yet they still overcharge for the old small cramped apartments. Management and owners do not take residents seriously and only care that they get a monthly rent check. Lots of street noise on the Ensanada side and a few cars, including mine, were broken into along that street, windows smashed, radios and whatever else thought to be of value taken. Don't live here it just plain sucks.

New Update:
They charge you illegally for cleaning, when the California Civil Code clearly states that they cannot charge cleaning when the apartment was "as clean as when you moved in" and charged me for a paint stain that had been there prior to me moving in even though I had been denied the choice to pre walkthough before move-in and move-out. This place is horrible and the managers as well as owners are very uninformed of not only California law but of their own lease. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE JERKS!!!
