These apartments are not really worth living in. One main problem is the management because they feel that they can come in any apartment without the tenants approval. The management has entered my apartment 3 times without my permission in the past year. Also the management seems to think college students are stupid and that they can talk to students any kind of way. I don}t let that slide and I also confront the managment anytime I believe they are being rude.



When tenants move in the managers ask all tenant to sign a abestos and lead paint agreement as part of the lease agreement. The contract basically means that if any tanant has any health problems from the harmful subtance which that the apartment may contain then you may not sue. It may not seem like that what it means but that is what it means. The managment is to cheap th clean all th abestos out of the apartment complex.



The management says they are not sure if the abestos or any other harmful substances are in the apartments. I asked the manager how come they have not tested the property to see if it is harmful or not but I got some -------- answer as if I was stupid. A couple of months later the department of health put up a sign stating that the Cranbrookr Apartments contains material that are hazardous to tanants health but the management told me that every apartment has that sign up and that that sign is there for a cigarette warning. I do not remember the sign having saying anyhing on it about cigarettes. The Surgeon General usually put warnings out anyway. This apartment may give out food every other month and give away gifts but the apartments at Cranbrook are hazordous to tenants health and the dumb ass managers know it.



If you have to move into these apartments be aggressive and let these managers know that you are not stupid and that you want to only take care of business and not be one of their dumb college students.
