I've lived here for about a year, and I did sign for another lease, not really because I wanted to, but because the hassle of moving really isn't worth it.

I've signed two leases at Cranbrook, and each time, my rent has gone up to what new tenants pay. It should be an incentive to not give me a rent increase if they want me to stay. $810.00/month for an apt with no air conditioning is too high.

It is a decent floor plan for me, but at times, it's a bit frustrating. No air conditioning or central heat is almost unbearable in the summer and winter. With the continual rental increases and nothing to show for it, you'd think they could spring for some much needed upgrades.

The biggest gripe I have is the hot water. If i paid for water, I would NOT be living here. It takes at least 20 minutes for the hot water in the kitchen to get hot enough to wash dishes, and the shower is just as bad.

The office staff has always been nice to me, and I have had only 2 maintenance issues in my time here. The only times I hear my neighbors are when they are yelling and screaming (half drunk, I assume), so that has not been a problem for me.
