I lived her for two years and never really had any problems. The office staff was friendly and helpful, and although they made one accounting mistake while I was there it was fixed immediately. We received most of our deposit back when leaving. Compared to many other apartment complexes in Davis it was very affordable and reasonably close to campus (about 10 min bike ride - very good bus access via E' line). My girlfriend's apartment did have a small mice problem, but other than that no problems. The back apartments are close to the train tracks, but rarely did that create a disturbance ( saturday mornings around 10 was the most common.)

Overall, Id recommend it, especially if you are on a tight budget as many college students are.

EDIT: apparently the prices have gone up a lot since I graduated last year - be sure to look around for deals, as it appears tandem properties is getting greedy.
