Before moving to Davis to go to UCD two years ago - I spent weeks touring all the major apartment complexes in town. Davis has some very nice housing, but Eastlake is a cut above the rest.

My first impression was that the buildings seemed very clean and new both inside and out, and the 2 bedroom apartments are large and very well laid out. Everything is extremely well maintained. Eastlake is a relatively small complex and has the feel of a community. The manager is the best I've ever seen by far, and like all the staff here, is very friendly and helpful as well as professional.

The quiet atmosphere combined with the well-maintained beauty and great location have attracted a variety of tenants, from freshmen at UCD, to professionals who have chosen to stay at Eastlake permanently. If you prefer a smaller, cleaner, quieter complex, and value good management -- then Eastlake is for you.

I look forward to renewing for another year!


Also -- in reference to comments in another review, DSL is currently available in all units (Comcast and SBC) and I've never had a problem with ants in the two years that I've lived here.
