A very nice apartment complex

I lived in this apartment complex (El Macero Village) for about 2 years around 2002-2004. Overall, this was a great apartment living experience. The landlady (Brenda) was always quick and ready to help out if tenants needed something reasonable (and lets be honest that there are lots of unreasonable/whiny tenants with unreasonable apartment living expectations), and any maintenace problems in my apartment were usually fixed the same or next day. This is a very quiet and pretty complex, (beautiful pool and spa)and just about every year they upgrade or add something to the grounds. There aren't problems with big, loud UC Davis college student parties here, and you can usually sleep well at night. Plus, if you are a UC Davis student, the A line bus runs and stops right in front of the apartment complex and UCD students ride for free so you don't have to worry about parking on campus. It is about a 15 minute bus ride to campus from the apartments. No problem with parking, not even a problem for visitor parking. I would definitely recommend El Macero Village apartments for people who are looking to have a fun but quieter/more studious college experience! And, this is also an awesome complex for families because it is quiet/safe and they allow dogs.
