When I first moved in, I really liked this place. It is quiet, the maintenance is great, they allow (some) dogs, etc. Apartments have balconies, and there is a lot of grass. Over time, I begin to find it wasn't so nice as it first appeared. Most of this is due to the management. The property manager Brenda could be very rude. She seemed nice at first until you wanted to get your packages the week BEFORE Christmas (a sign on the door told you that you couldn't and *NOT* to knock on her door). So basically, you were stuck without presents on Christmas. Brenda would write rude notices to all the residents and leave them on the doors. Most of them were mandates. If you got locked out the policy was that you HAD TO CALL A LOCKSMITH AND PAY FOR IT (even though the manager had keys). Also, I never saw the pool without bugs in it. And Brenda was very strict about how noisy the pool was in the evening (you were not allowed after 10, minors were not allowed unattended in the workout room, etc.) We frequently got mandates about pool usage posted on our doors. Despite the strict noise policy, some of the people in the complex were very loud in the middle of the night and as far as I knew, were not asked to leave. Sometimes police would show up there... not sure what was going on. Overall the apartment was safe; I heard about an incident with kids trying to get inside unlocked apartments, but that sort of thing is not unusual.

After I left, I heard they cut down a bunch of trees without telling anyone they were going to do it. They would also water the sidewalk and the side of the buildings, so much so that it caused rotting; obviously not a very eco-friendly management.
