i moved here a few months ago from downtown sac (capital towers), which was a complete nightmare. i was payin $1200 for a studio apartment, with no parking, and i had to pay all the utilities, and got robbed. there was constant construction noise. you can go to their review site and read about the hell of capital towers...

so i moved to ellington. so far i am very happy. you get 1 reserved carport for free. rent is $1200 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. neighbors seem very nice. its VERY quiet. and best of all i dont have someone living above me anymore! the apartment is pretty big. it has dual-pane windows (my last apartment didnt, so this was a plus)... doode and the showers are highflow water!!! it's freakin awesome!

some people complain about stupid lil things. like no free cable and high rent.. doode this rent is not that high. i paid the same for a studio. and i've never heard of an apartment with free cable.... until u have truely lived in an apartment from hell, you dont realize how good you all have it in these apartments.

1. Compared to other apartment complexes in Davis, this rent is high for what you get. I think I speak for others when I say we are comparing Ellington to other places in DAVIS, not Sacramento, not Texas, not LA, etc. Yes, we know we don't have to worry about being broken into every night because we choose not to live in the ghetto. 2. It will piss people off and not bode well for the apartments when cable is advertised as being an amenity when you move in, then it is canceled halfway through your lease and there is nothing you can do about it. 3. "Dude" is not spelled "doode" and "truly" is not spelled "truely."
