service:
when we moved in we didnt receive a gift basket like many other complexes give out. the manager never gets on a first name basis with you, nor does she recognize a face.
but! if u ask for something to be done, it is done within days. work orders are almost immediate!
neighbors: friendly enough to say hi when walking through the complex. sometimes there are loud parties. sometimes people take other people's laundry out of the dryer when they need it for themselves and plop all the clean clothes on a dirty table.
location: great! absolutely perfect no matter who you are of what you need. a short walk from the marketplace (safeway, peet's, noahs, hallmark, big5, petco, blockbuster) and the same walk in the other direction takes you to anderson plaza (albertsons, mcdonalds, guadalajara, tokyo). there is a stop right in front of the complex for the G line which is the best unitrans line!
parking: a real pain. there used to be the problem of non-residents parking there and jumping on the G line. or of residents from almondwood parking there because it was easier for them. now the office issues permits to residents so it should be better, right' no. its hard to park at night. often, we resort to parking on the street. daytime, weekends and holidays are easier.
