ive lived here for a year almost, and the current management is efficient and approachable. they seem willing to do whatever to help you out with issues. being that ive lived in an apartment my entire life, this place is extremely quick with repairs (like next day on an oven kind of quick) and the office has just started to be open on sundays (probably for leasing business, actually). it is within walking distance to a unitrans D/K line bus stop, and if youre on the north side of the property, then it's within walking distance of the former stop and another stop on lake and arlington- P/Q/D/K line. the pool is very large, but the weight room is very small. the lake is gorgeous and many upstairs apts have a view of it. i think the pool area is ideal for a quiet place to relax or do homework for the summer. the computer room in the office hall is nice and there is always a computer open, but printing is a dime/pg. another up for this complex is that we get $100 off the rent for several months while the management shows our apt for people looking to lease!
overall i really enjoy this place. re-lease if possible to save money per year as rent increases due to inflation. floorplan prices are average for Davis.
if you choose this place, the downsides would be current appearance- the construction is not done in the back/hidden from first sight apts. also, due to the construction, parking is difficult.
another downside would be the fact that most all the floorplans have bedrooms adjacent to each other- which makes for annoyances between roommates that are even slightly noisy.
