Curse this wretched place!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
Ever since I moved here it has been nothing but problems.
*The day I moved in I noticed that one of the large kitchen drawers was broken and could not open or close it without getting stuck.
*There were pieces of metal sticking out of the carpet and my roomates and I all stepped on them the first few days.
*Almost immediately..maybe 3 weeks after moving in, we had a severe fly problem. First there were 5-10 VERY HUGE flies and after killing them maggots began springing up everywhere in the bathroom. Another week or two later there were literally about 100 flies in the bathroom. Even killing them with a spray another 100 more would appear after a few hours. We finally killed them all after a few weeks but we were left with a disgusting mound of fly corpse in the bathroom.
*After the school year started we were forced to park blocks away from the apartment if we came home past 10 pm.
*In the winter it became ridiculously cold and our gas bill shot up so we can keep warm at night.
*In the summer the heat never escaped and the AC hardly did anything. Our electric bill shot up just to keep cool.
*The garbage disposal broke the first month.
*Our dish washer would not wash our dishes even after reducing our load. It ceased all function by jan-feb.
*Sometimes our door would just swing open by itself and frequently found it wide open after coming home. Luckily nothing was stolen
*Around 1 pm everyday the trains RIGHT NEXT TO THE COMPLEX would unload a cart and loud CRAASSHHHHH could be heard and shake the house.
*My car was broken into once.
*In May we had a severe ant problem in the bathroom. They found their way through the cracks of hte houes and die in the bathtub. I would come home and find a sea of black dead ants in the tub and all over the floor. ANts and flying insects began sticking to the ceiling in the summer.
*The pool area is only open til 10 pm and you need a key to get out. YES...to GET OUT of the pool area, you need a key.
*The sprinkers would spray water on the walkway to your door so you get sprayed trying to come home around midnight.
*If you didnt have a car you walked about 6-8 blocks to the closest grocery store or to any store with food. You were pretty much isolated from all the stores. Corner of F and Covell.
*Plumbling is horrible here. The toilets clogged once a month and the water would fill up to ur ankles in the tub.
I am incredibly happy to be moving out and I have been waiting for this day since Sept. All my guests who stayed over also hated staying here and never returned. They feared our bathroom because there would always be some kind of insect problem in there. We cleaned it and sealed all holes but something always found their way in. My guests would all go home to shower at their own home.
I think we were very unlucky with the problems and I'm sure the other tenants were better off. But why take the chances' Especially because they are raising the rent and it was already a whopping $930 for a 2 bedroom.
The only good thing were the managers. I thought they were all very nice and I loved them. THey did their best to keep the bugs out and fix our equipt.
