I've lived at Parkside for just over a year and can't wait to move out. Our 2 bedroom is old and small for the price (you can find much better housing in davis for the same price). It's ridiculously hot in the summer b/c the insulation is horrible and the window A/C does almost nothing. The walls are so thin that I hear every conversation from my neighbors which consistently keeps me up at night. The power to my room has just gone out for the fourth time and some outlets continue to be useless (also, every outlet is ILLEGAL because it does not have a hole for the ground, which is also extremely dangerous, which is probably also why the breaker keeps snapping leading to the power outages). My roomate has had a positive experience with the management but I have had mixed feelings. Some people are happy living in Parkside but I have had a very bad experience and would strongly advice not giving them a dime.
