The management is always nice, they gave little baggies of candy for holloween and christmas. They are ok with repairs, sometimes it takes them a while though. The management is also very clear of what they are checking for during your move out. They give you a list of things you can do to help you get most of your security deposit back. The pool looks like it's been cleaned quite a few times and is kind of small. It does help during those days of intense heat. However, once when I was walking by the pool, there was a small rat swimming in it.
The one bad thing that happened during my stay here was that my car got its front two tires slashed and the body got keyed even though the car was parked in the parking lot. I don't know if this is an isolated event or if there are people who don't like me out there, but it definitely alchohol induced (there were beer cans surrounding my car. I don't know who did it, but be wary of parking on the tree side of the parking lot.
The AC system in the apartments is not central, it only blows into the living room and kitchen, and doesn't reach the bedrooms. So it definitely gets pretty hot in the rooms, especially during the triple digit temperatures. I have to have the AC on, two fans on and an ice pack on my forehead for me to sleep well at night.
The room sizes are pretty generous, the closet size even more so. I love how the shower and toilet is seperate from the two sinks so you don't have to fight for the bathroom. There is no microwave or dishwasher, but that wasn't too difficult to deal with. The laundry is $1 for wash and $1 for drying.
This is pretty minor, but whenever people pass by my apartment, it sounds (and feels) like an earthquake is coming.
