I've been really happy with Pincrest, but have to move because they're raising the rent. They fix things fast - same or next day after they know. Our carpet and linoleum are in great shape. Our windows are unfortunately not very tight, which means our heating and a/c is probably not the most efficient. What else' The lounge, pool, exercise facility and grounds are very well maintained, but the laundry rooms are hit-and-miss to find a working machine, even though they just replaced them all. The closets are huge, which is a big plus. My apartment is 20 yards from the railroad tracks, but they're only ever noisy in the daytime. I've heard them when awake at night, and they're quiet at night - definitely not enough to wake me up.
My biggest complaint to date is the smoke alarms. You'll get fined if they don't have batteries ( and they do inspect once in winter), but the stupid things go off if you boil water or take a hot shower. Sheesh.
