Here's the good: Managers are very friendly, close to the Marketplace shopping Center and the G-line for UC Davis. Generally a quiet place, never had any noise problems. For the most part, a good community of people live there.

Now the bad: Parking is horrid. There is never enough parking, and there are only about 5 unreserved spots for visitors. The washer/dryers are terrible, as they would not clean or dry our clothes (we had to start going to a laundromat since it was so bad). Manager hours are just unacceptable (M-F 1-4pm doesn't cut it, most people work, and can't make those hours). It is difficult to get work done at the apartment, usually they never get around to it. Walls transmit sound fairly well, so neighbors get angry at doors closing and sliding closet doors shutting. Lastly, our utilities sucked.

Conclusion: Not the best, and not the worst. A lot to pay for what you get, but in Davis you can't be too picky.
