Temescal Apartments

From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/18/2002 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2002   I've lived in Temescal Apts for 3 years, partly because they are nice apts and partly because I hate moving. They are getting more expensive every year, but are still competitively priced compared with other complexes. My apt is in the back, near the freeway, which gets pretty noisy sometimes with the semi-trucks going by. So, if you opt for Temescal, ask for an apt in the front of the complex (close to the street). Also, the maintenance man, Rafael, is super nice and the complex is very prompt with repairs. Be sure to do a very thorough assessment when you move in to avoid losing deposit money on damage you didn't cause. Hopefully, you like going to laundromats because the laundry facilities in the complex are completely inadequate. The washers don't do a good job of cleaning your clothes. The dryers don't dry your clothes on the first run, but they cook them on the second run so they smell burnt. I always go to Soap City in west Davis.
