This is just a awful place to live in davis. Nothing works here. The management is careless and irresponsive. Parking is a real problem. Also noisy. They show you a good unit when you visit. But when you sign-up the lease you will definitely get a dirty one. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd

Dear Resident,

This is Marisa, your manager, and we do not appreciate your ridiculous accusations. This website is for renters to express opinions about their community, which is a good thing. When someone writes something so untrue as you are stating it falls under defamation. Please note what apartmentratings.com has advised us: One common misconception is that anonymous posters enjoy a shield from liability for defamation or other harm caused by their postings. If an anonymous author posts tortuous, damaging comments, the harmed party can file suit against the "anonymous" author, subpoena their IP address, discover their identity from their ISP, and pursue a defamation judgment against the individual.

Please stop your unfounded accusations. Thank you.

I believe that whatever the truth is, everyone should know. And if it isn't true then why would the one being accused be so defensive. These are the opinions of residents who have personal experiences and should be out for future apartment seekers to see if the apartment is worth residing in or not.

Boy, I agree. I would like to comment on the response from the managment, and have copied it below:

In my opinion this response is giving the residents who have written reviews about unpleasant management more credit than they may have originally deserved.
As frustrating as bad reviews can be, it may have been better to write a managment review in the open, discussing the areas of her complex in which she was most proud, and offering a sympathetic ear to residents, rather than threatening everyone with lawsuits. I am looking for a new place to live, and won't come here based on the response from Marisa listed above, and not from any review from the residents.
