this place is the cheapest place i know in the whole city. owning a room, or sharing a room will be worth it. some apts are old and bad, but the apt i was in is nice, new fridge, new stove, no mold, no leak. big living room, big bedrooms. i didn't have much problems in the apt. but the managers sure are lazy, work from 1pm-5pm only, and they are not always in the office, they usually stay in their apt#1. but they will answer you if you go knock the door.
