Well first I have to say I am totally shocked at some of the things that I have read. I heard about this web site from a friend and thought that I would go on it and check out what people had to say about sterling. I was not going to write anything but after I read some of the "horror" stories I decided that I had to set the record straight. This place is AMAZING!! It is brand new so you know everything is clean and well kept. There are the occasional problems that any new apartment or any apartment would have for that matter but what makes it all ok is the way the staff and that matinence handle the situation. They are there to fix any problem that they can and if it is not fixable right then they make sure that it is done as soon as possible. I agree with what another resident had said that the student staff is nice because you are not intimidated when you have to go into the office to talk to someone about something. It is actually a nice place to come in and just hang out. The manager there is the sweetest person I have ever met. She is always willing to help in anyway that she can. When we first moved in the elevators were not working (because it was a new apt and not everything is going to be perfect the first time) but she called her husband and had him and his friends come to the apt complex to help residents move it. I have never met someone so genuinely nice and caring. This is a great place to live and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful college experience. If you do not choose to live here make sure you do not live in the same apartment with whoever has been writing all of these horrible things about this place or you just might have to reach up and pull that stick that they obviously have shoved so far up their ass they can't think straight. The landscaping is great and the apartments themselves are spacious and nice. oh yeah about the comment about the rug shedding, if you were not a complete jack ass you would know that all new carpet does that, it just means that you will actually have to do a little house work but I guess vacuuming and taking out the trash would be too much exercise. Heaven forbid they make you walk to the dumpster to throw away your trash, you spoiled ------- brats. Sterling is a great place to live and the staff makes it wonderful.
