You don't have to be brain dead to "love it here" but it sure helps

First and foremost, let me say that this isn't the worst place in the world to live: you could be in Rwanda. But, if issues regarding internet service, well-trained management, and security happen to be your buttons, you don't want to live here. Some people enjoy it because of its "laid back atmosphere" (a euphemism for piss in the elevator or idiots heaving things out of windows). Not to mention you might get held up in the parking lot at gunpoint and then be unable to drive to the police station because the management lets people park in the driveways. Here's an impression of the management handling a typical situation:
M: Uh-oh! The residents are complaining about maintenance and the lack of internet! Also, the elevator hasn't been working for three days! What do we do'
A: How about a movie night'
M: Yeah!
So if you ever wanted to know what living in a third-world country is like, hop on over to University Village, where decent management and higher standards are kept where they belong: not here.
