I am a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the United States Army and this is how they treated me. The deposit is non refundable because the condition of the apartments is less than poor. The main goal of the complex seemed to be to get the contract signed and collect payment. Not the needs of the tenant. They tried to give me an extremely unsatisfactory room in a nasty apartment and had the nerve to refuse a refund on the deposit. When I confronted the manager she faced me with a very challenging attitude and cleary was not interested in customer satisfaction. I am currently persuing a small claims case against the company.

I am surprised there aren't more small claims court cases and I recommend going to the better business bureau as well (bbb.com)
