I've lived here for almost a year and I am planning to stay for the next year. Yes, the carpets are old and it's poorly insulated, but the patios are great. The kitchen is large compared to other places I've seen in Davis. Yes, the band is still playing, but it seems to be during mid-afternoon to early evening. Everyone is fairly friendly and we all watch out for each other. The manager is quick to respond to problems. If you keep your place clean, i.e. vacuum regularly and take out the trash, I have not had a problem with pests.

Also, my friend who is living here has a roommate who lived in another apartment in the same complex, didn't have a problem getting her deposit back. Maybe people are not cleaning?
