I currently live in the westwood townhouse complex, and I cannot help myself not to react to the previous reviews clearly written by the manager. Read and judge for yourself, all those comments about top-notch management, "enjoy every moment the newly remodeled kitchen with maple cabinets and granite counter tops" etc. This is low!

The complex is not bad, but not great. The negative points:
1. Poor insulation. It gets very hot in summer and cold in winter, count on high utility bills.
2. Outdated AC system (very inefficient).
2. The proximity to 113 freeway makes it VERY noisy. It is OK when the windows are closed, but expect to feel like in New York City with the windows open.
3. Dirty laundry room. Disgusting mold growing everywhere. Dirty floor. The management does not care about that at all.
4. Dirty windows. You cannot open your windows because of insect screens, so you cannot wash them yourself from the outside. Again, management does not care.
5. Parking is sometimes a problem. Each unit has one reserved spot, but this gets often used by someone else (minor problem).
6. No decoration on the outside (doors, windows, etc.) is allowed. At X-mas time, the complex feels like a sad place (minor problem).

In summary, it is not a bad place. It is well kept, clean, and many units have new bathrooms and kitchen. There is no problem with hot water. The patio is a plus. The manager is unfriendly but who cares - you do not have to deal with her often.
