Should be Ant Hill Apartments. If you dont mind the company of these little critters, this is THE place to live. "We live in an ant area, there is nothing to do" was the managers reply. 3 different pest control companies have told me different. Plus the place is flooded every 2 hours when the sprinklers go on. Extremely excessive irrigation, even for desert conditions. Plus the crime rate for the area is 4.23 times the national average. Additional attractions include the coyotes and an amazing number of Black Widow spiders. 2 Pools, though. Reasonable to high rent, considering the quality of the place. Recently under new management and owners (Oct. 2001), and it looks like they are a little more serious than the previous owners, they have actually hired a security company to patrol the property and are trying to form a tennants association, so maybe there is hope.
LATEST: It is now 10 WEEKS since we moved out and we haven't recieved our deposit back yet, I am given the runaround by the owner and the accountant who both say that he/she is waiting for the other person to sign the check so it can be sent. IF you are desperate and REALLY need a place, be sure to ask for copies of EVERYTHING- you will need it when you take your case to court later.....
