Decent apartment for a low price From: Transmuter Date posted: 3/15/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   The Normandie Apartments complex is old - I would guess maybe from the 1960s or 70s. That means that it doesn't have all the amenities of a new facility: it has a pool and laundry facilities, but that's it. On the positive side, our 1 bedroom apartment is relatively spacious compared to other apartments we have looked at. Probably the biggest draw to this apartment is the price - $765/month! The apartments are old enough that the owner has probably paid the loan off by now so he doesn't have to charge high rent to pay his costs.
