Deluxe Lakes! From: deluxe247 Date posted: 2/27/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005   We lived in Amador Lakes for over three years and it was simply fantastic. We were fortunate to have a 2 BR apartment with a large patio with a great view on the lake. Hereâs the good and bad: The good: We never any problems with our apartment. The bedrooms are nice sized; the washer and dryer were new, new dishwasher, etc. Parking was easy like Sunday morning, there are also garages available. The grounds were lush and expansive. I took many an evening walk along the lake. The complex itself is very safe and quiet. There are 3 pools and hot tubs which we often visited. The staff has always been cool to us. A lot of reviews mention issues with staff but I have never had a bad time. Iâm not sure what thatâs all about, but they have always helped us out quickly without any hastle. The bad: Towards the end of our stay, we did have some issues with mice and caught more than our share (we actually may have set a record by one single apartment). However, the Management team, especially Ki and Lani were more than helpful in addressing the problem. The maintenance crew set up traps and added foam under the sink which solved the problem. After that, we never had any vermin. This only was an issue the last few months we lived there. Spiders were an issue in our unit as it was on the lake. That is to be expected I suppose but the âBug Guyâ sprayed for us once a month and that seemed to work wellâunless it rained. Overall, if you are looking for a safe, quiet setting with wonderful amenities this is the spot. Nice neighbors, serene view, helpful staff, sweet hot tub on the north side are all aspects of this place we miss greatly. If you can, get the lakeside units and have a beverage on your patio at dusk and youâll know how deluxe the place is! Take care of the geese and fishâ bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
