Rent keeps rising, Porch is bug ridden, Move in if you can afford it.

My husband and I have lived her a little over 1 year and a half. We have signed 3 leases and our rent has increased $250 since then. We are up for another and can only expect another astronomical increase. The apartment is fair size, the kitchen desperately needs some updating. The porch is a joke. It's completely covered by trees that bring in all sorts of disgusting bugs. We have never been able to use the porch because it is bug ridden. There are many wild turkeys in the area, they leave very large messes all over the grounds. At times there are so many turkeys, it can be quite intimidating. They are also VERY loud. Parking is a disaster. In my area there are almost never any guest spots available. The spots are ridiculously small and management does not control people who park like crap leaving some other poor person to park in a tiny spot. Many times I come home to find some other person parked in my assigned parking. This can be very annoying. Management is lazy. They do not like to deal with any issues you have, only try to avoid them. So, if you put in a work order, I hope you have a week or so to wait for it to get done. The location is one of their strength and the grounds for the most part are well kept. I would stay here if it were more reasonable but I can get more for my money elsewhere and I reccommend you do also.

Completly unnecessary, The turkeys are wild animals and I have personally called animal control and have been told that there is simply nothing to be done to remove them. They don't bite, they are afraid of you. So why are you intimidated? You say you like the landscape and yet you complain about them on your patio. If you don't like the bugs they attract then simply make a work order with office to have the weekly pest control service come in and spray. Parking is much better here than I have experianced at other properties, and when you have over 500 units to control you do what you can. Aparently you can't please everyone, but they try. Management is not lazy at all. They work very hard to provide a safe and friendly enviornment for their residents. Try and have an understanding again that there are 555 units and work orders will not always be done same day. As far as the rent increase, call around and you will find that it is the same everywhere. Owners control the rent not management, don't take your anger out on the wrong person. The market went up thats all, we all hope im sure that it will go down again. That's life. How many places do you know of that provide full size washer and dryer, pay for your water, sewage, and garbage, and provide beautiful landscape? very few. There is no such thing as a perfect apartment complex. But get your facts straight.

IT'S OBVIOUS.....You must be part of management?! Sorry you have to constantly defend the place you work for, must be a crappy job. I do not like having to make loud noises to get 10 turkeys away from my car every single morning. Spiders on the patio? They TOOK OVER MY PATIO!! They are ALL OVER MY HOUSE. Weekly pest control, HAVE YOU READ THE OTHER 60 POSTS??? That obviously doesn't work. PARKING IS A JOKE!!! It's obvious I am not the only one with these same complaints. MANAGEMENT IS LAZY, they waste all their time on Apartment Ratings trying to make themselves look better then they really are. Why don't you actually get out there and HELP your tenants. As far as the rent rising?!?!? Dublin has built hundreds of BRAND NEW apartments all over with Washer and Dryer, Paid water and sewage and garbage, new appliances (not from the 70's), enclosed garages. I reccomend you continue to get YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! AMADOR LAKES, you are a rip off. I wonder what you do with all the rent all 555 units pay? You certainly are not upgrading your units.
