NOT WORTH IT From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/2/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Just because they put the word Luxury in their name, they charge more than the other apartment complexes in this area, but there is nothing luxurious about it! First, the staff is horrendous to work with. When I've needed something fixed, I have requested that maintenance come into my apartment only when I am present, and of course, they don't listen. I wrote them a check for the security deposit for my pet and handed it to them. Later, I received phone calls and letters saying I still had not put the deposit down. I had to call and make 2 visits to the office to get them to finally figure out that I had already paid! I've been told that I would receive an access card from them in a week's time, and a month later, I still don't have one. I could go on and on about the staff, but incompetence is the theme. Second, the noise is a pain. The walls are so thin, I can hear my neighbor snoring at night, and whenever anyone across the hall closes their door, my apartment shakes. I can also hear people going up and down stairs at all hours of the night. If you live facing the pool, it gets extremely loud during the summer. Third, the apartments are not well-maintained. I have had problems with the caulking in my shower since the beginning, and maintenance doesn't seem to know how to fix the problem. They've set up the A/C, so that it drains into the bathtub, so don't bother showering when the A/C is on unless you want to use that water. The cabinets under the sink smell like mildew. Fourth, the apartment complex itself is not well-maintained. There are stray cats in the area, and they dump all over the walkways. It takes days before maintenance gets to it, leaving a horrific odor and nauseating amounts of flies. The stairways are full of leaves and other debris - I don't think they've ever been swept. Finally, the gates are a joke. One or the other is always malfunctioning. And they do not keep anyone out. All in all, I've been very disappointed with this place, and I will not be renewing my lease. This place is not luxurious in any sense of the word, and my money would be better spent elsewhere.
