Wow. I don't what to say to those people who gave this place an "No" recommendation or anything less than 4 stars. Did they work out at the brand new gym facility' Did they actually talk to the management in a polite manner, or be rude to them off the bat' If you come in with a chip on your shoulder and come across rude, I'd give you your own social taste too. I've talked to management from the time I first looked living here up until today when I asked for some touch-up paint to cover my painting mistakes and was treated very kindly. I think anyone who posts a bad review on here from 03/01/07 on is giving some pretty unrealistic ideas or initiated some bad temper. I'm not in bed with management, or the gardners, or anyone who helps around here or takes care of this place - it's my own observation.

My fiance and I wanted something very nice at a decent price - Parkwood was the place. We even had a couple hundred down on an apartment in San Ramon that couldn't even compare to this place, and that other place was great! We have met most of our neighbors in our building; their ages range from 28 to 59 - all of them agree that this place is kept up very well, is mostly quiet, not too much road noise, and the grounds to me are mature, well shaded where needed, and very tidy.

For those of you who gave this place a negative review, hate the management, complaint about a spider, have to park an extra 20 feet away, have to step over a small twig that fell from a tree - from your fellow/former tenents, GOOD RIDENCE!! We're aware you expect the management to serve you breakfast in bed, take out your trash, expect parking 2 feet away from your door, and have someone bring you your mail - you know this is a decent place to live and will have a HARD time finding somewhere that compares.

Last thing: plumbing problems happen, sometimes people are busy and can't call you back right away, Mr. spider man who's hanging on your wall can be shoved out by YOU, not pest control - but if you need them, management will order it for you... Heaven forbid you take any action yourself. Do you understand where I'm going with this' Don't let these reviews steer you away from looking at these places - give it a chance. Would you not go see a movie because some shmuck says they don't like it' I thought not.
