Beware they will try to nickle and dime you on the way out. Normal wear and tear on the wall they want you to pay for painting the place if you don't live there for 5 years. I have lived there for three. Also dirty blinds be sure for them to ask to pay for that too. Blinds accumulate dust and per California state law that is normal wear and tear. Does that factor into the situation' nope.

Also be sure for no cell phone service and high rent increased over $115 just this last time will make living here just a peach.

PS just wait for the solicitors that come to your door from week to week.

Sounds like your charges were justified. Boy, I'm glad I didn't come visit you; your place sounds dirty to begin with. Don't normal people clean their blinds and paint over scuff-marks on their walls? I think it's called "renter's pride," something you obviously don't have.

The observation about cell phone coverage is valid. This place is in the shadow of a hill; nice open space and a good place for a hard run, but it kills the signal.
