First let me say that all the bad reviews posted are nothing but B.S. This is a great place to live. My husband and I moved in 05. The staff in the office is friendly, the place is very well kept up and they DO leave notices on your door when they need to enter or will be doing work on the building. The unit under me had plumbing problems and the staff called me at home/work/cell phone to let me know of the situation and when it would be resolved. The maintance staff is friendly and gets things done right away.

Yes, last year 07 we did start seeing patrol cars because of some recent break ins to bottom floor units. ( we were notified by the lovely notice they put on our doors) Everyone home/apartment building will have to deal with things like this, it is in no way managments fault.

Those of you posting these bad reviews probably just had a bad day and want to take it out on the staff, or maybe you were the rude ones not getting what you wanted and took it out on the staff, well shove it. This place was great.

When moving out in 08 my husband and I were treated fairly when it came to the walk through and deposit, we got it all back!!. Parkwood is a great place to live. They pay water/garbage and there are full size washers/dryers in the units. Parking was NEVER a problem, even when we had people over.
