I moved in about a year and a half ago. I have walls that drip with tobacco because the person who lived there before me smoked. They have been re-painted twice which helped, but now that it's starting again (as of 5 months ago), management doesn't know what to do. The tack strip under the old, stained funky carpet I moved in with is poking out and I've gotten it in my foot twice, one of my visitors got a CHUNK OF FOOT taken out on the rusty nail tack strip. I've been telling the manager for like a year and I get excuse after excuse. Finally, someone was sent up to nail it down, which not only looks terrible, but doesn't get everything. The electricity in the apartment has issues and some outlets work and some don't. The balcony / patio almost fell on the neighbor downstairs. It was finally fixed, but the boards are rotted in areas. The bathtub has holes on the floor. It leaked onto the neighbor downstairs and was fixed the first time by SUPER GLUING a bathmat down. NONE of the sub floors or sheetrock were replaced.The appliances are old and outdated. The linoleum is faded and worn. The apartment if fixed up and modernized has a great amount of space and nice lines, but as is, not very appealing. There is mold growing around the opening for the hot water heater. The worst part in my opinion is management. Not helpful, in my opinion needs medication, has made racial comments about other ethnic groups, and makes you feel like crap if you complain.

Funny Im of an other ethnic group and she has always been nice to me...I also love my brand new stove! Makes sense to me that the owner would decide what gets fixed and not always the manager in the office.
