It was the worst place I have ever lived at

I had so many problems with the manager, it's unbelieveable. The first week that I moved in, she tried to pawn her religion (Jehovah's Witness) off on me and when I explained that I really wasn't interested, she walked away and has been cold and aloof since. If I call to let her know that there is yet again another problem in my apartment (that's IF you can ever get ahold of her), she argues with me at times if it's a repeat problem. Hey..Guess what' She's the manager and it's her JOB to fix this place and make it habitable for occupants. It's not my fault that the AC only cools down to 90 in the summer, or that there's mold around the water heater openening or that the deck has so many splinters that you cut your feet if you walk outside barefoot. Everything was a problem in that apartment. The appliances were so old that I'm surprised they weren't replaced. They just barely worked. The parking situation was lousy depending on where your apartment was. I've seen so much turnover as far as maintenace that I can't even keep up with who's new and still there. You used to be able to have pets, but not anymore. What gives' You can have pets at every other complex in El Dorado Hills and there are 2 other MUCH NICER complexes that don't have weight restrictions on dogs, either. The grounds sometimes looked like they were not very well-maintained. I'd rather pay $100.00 more a month and have a gym, tennis courts, spa, newly remodeled apartment, appliances that are nowhere near 30 years old and beautiful lawns and a view. The grass around Copperhil is only green 2 months out of the year. The rest of time time it looks like sad dead weeds...just like this complex...sad

I have lived here for a number of years and have never had any of the problems mentioned above. Second the water heater IS IN THE ATTIC!!! how could there be mold arround the opening if its in the attic!!, also since its in the attic, how on earth would you know if there was mold? The appliances in my unit are well maintained, and if they did break down, they were promptly replaced with NEW units. Now this just seems like common sence to me to have rules that keep idiots from cooping large dogs in apartments, large dogs need a yard to run in, not a living room. To me, it sounds you are just an angry person that has nothing better to do than sit on the couch all day and write horrible and entirely untrue reviews

The mold was around the opening to the water heater. If you looked up in the hallway by the kitchen, you saw black mold growing around the ceiling opening to the water heater. YOUR appliances may have been well-maintained, but MINE weren't. As far as pets, most people that live in apartments do it temporarily. What loser wants to live in an apartment the rest of their life? I lived there for a few months while my house was remodeled. It was close by and economical. I had a pet. I had a pet before I moved in at MY HOUSE. The rules changed and are ridiculous. Am I angry? Yeah, you could say that. The whole experience was a joke, I was treated rudely and so because this is a PUBLIC APARTMENT REVIEW FORUM, I am expressing MY OPINION which I am entitled to. If you don't like it, that's fine. That is YOUR opinion, but other people who may consider renting deserve to know the expeiences of those that have lived in this complex. If it bothers you to hear an expression of free speach, perhaps you'd be more comfortable in Iraq. They apparently don't like it either.

It is unfortunate that people have to be so negative because they feel they have a right to an opinion. I personally have not experienced ANY problems with the management or the apartment complex. My family's experience with Copper Hill and the management has been only the best.

Ugh, HELLO, the opening in the hallway is the attic access, NOT THE WATER HEATER DOOR. And there is deliberately placed black weather stripping around the opening FOR THE ATTIC. I have had absolutely no problems with anything or anyone at this complex, i do DEFINITELY recommend this complex to anyone!
