I am in ther process of moving out of Continental Apartments in West Covina where Maria Gonzales is Manager and I am very disappointed she is what you can call a 2 face she plays the part before you move in and once you do its a whole different story...I got the run around about giving my 30 day notice and when I finally got the paper work I took it in myself where she confronted me and was very upset because I went over her in Management, The apartment complex is not as clean as should be the steps are filthy the workers are non professional and are very messy also they do Mickey Mouse jobs and still dont get it right! I dont recommend this apartment complex if you have children because Maria does not like the kids to be outside kids are intimidated by her excpet hers thay are allowed to do as they please alos you are assigned 1 parking spot where she has about 5 or so she also has lots of family memebers living at the complex so they get priority, The complex has roaches!!! I am hoping that I do not have a problem getting my deposit back because I have heard that they like to rip people off if so I will be seeking legal action as well as calling inspector on them!!!

DONT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your situation sounds about right however I can tell you the only reason she probably confronted you is because she had someone chewing her butt about you going in the office. These office workers think they own the company and try to yell and humiliate all these manager..so that is probably why she is that way. It's unbelievable the pressure these people get from management. They are constantly threaten to loose their jobs over ridiculous things...I'm not recommending Pama.. but I do understand the manager!

If you really want to get them contact the local TV stations and newspapers. They have been featured before on TV for being a slumlord. Then call you city and the El Monte city and complain about them. I have heard that El Monte city praises them and give them awards. Some should deflate them and sue them.

I keep preaching this but class action lawsuit. Lets find a lawyer and blast them. They are now proceeding with trying to evict me. Despite the rent stabilzation board telling them that they are wrong. They will keep doing this until we nail them financially. If anyone is interested, try getting Bernard Parks to step in. Pama contributed to his campain as well as bob honda's. If we bring media attention on the politicians connected to them, then maybe they'll do something just to protect themselves.
