We recently signed a lease for 1 bedroom on the 3rd level.



When we went to take posession of the apartment we noticed a musty smell but thought it was because the apartment was empty. Now we think it is mold since its been two weeks since we moved in and the smell is still there in spite of using air fresheners etc.



Also the parking which should normally be in front of the apartment building is in a totally different area, not even in the same courtyard!!!. You have to pass through some not well lit areas to get to the apartment, making it potentially unsafe to come to your apartment at night. They refused to assign a closer parking spot.



Also any of the non reserved spots are always taken up by residents who have more than one car. They usually leave their reserved spots vacant and leave their 2nd cars in the non reserved spots, thus making it next to impossible to secure any parking near the apartment.



Also the security is a joke since even though they advertise this as a gated property, the residents just follow one another and anyone can enter the apartment complex since the gate allows any number of cars to pass through.



My recommendation is to make sure they give you a parking spot at least in front of your building. Stay away from any apartments near the gate since the gate makes a racket closing each time. Also there is a park opposite where they play games and it can be quite loud and bright.



It was windy recently and the noise was unbearable, poor construction is probably the cause of this. Also the windows were leaking.



Apartment fixtures are the cheapest you can buy. The bathroom has a plastic toilet seat of the cheapest variety. The fridge does not even have a handle on it. The washer and dryer have been designed for little people, you can?t wash more than a handful of clothes. And the toilet is still leaking...we are yet to get that fixed.



The construction of this apartment must have been a contest on "trading spaces" to see if everything could be done for under a thousand dollars...only in this case it was a lot less than that.



We are still waiting at this time to be given another spot, they don?t seem to be inclined to do so. Also we are not sure what they will do about the mold. I will update this review if there is positive action on both these counts.



One more note. This apartment does not appear to do any recycling. The trash bins are also overflowing with trash spilled all over and onto the street. It is quite disgusting.


The slogan at these apartments is "We love our residents"...I have not felt this love yet.
