over all this complex is Great! From: cpladyluck Date posted: 3/20/2006 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006   I love this Elk Grove Apt. Complex! It is well kept and clean. The office staff is very friendly and nice. Not always so quick to fix something but if it's "Important" such as (water leeks) etc. they get right on it! Tenants have an assigned 'covered' parking space, one time I came home and there was a vehicle in my spot, I had to park elsewhere but I went to the office the next morning and the staff responded immediately, they found out who it belonged to and had them remove it. When I 1st moved in I wasn't told where to park either and I had accidently parked in someones spot too! Other then new tenants not being told where to park, parking isn't a problem here. The "ONLY" problem I have really had here is 1 neighbor complaining about smelling my cigarette smoke in her upstairs apartment through the vents (I live downstairs) 1st of all, How could she possibly smell cigarette smoke from my Apt' I don't smell her food when she cooks! Also, if you think about it, If you are able to SMELL things in others apartments through the vents, wouldn't you wonder why they would ever put vents in the bathrooms''' EWE! She was moved to a different apartment FINALLY! But I had received SEVERAL violation notices because of her constant complaining, even though I had to dispute the violation notices "HARRASSMENT" smoking was NOT in my Contract but she infact was Violating her Contract in MANY ways. Overall I LOVE my Apt. and Great location. Stores are within walking distance. I feel VERY safe living here at Village Crossing Apts. I would definantly recommend this Complex! CLEAN, QUIET, and SAFE! One of the drawbacks is when you have a downstairs Apt., you can hear your upstairs neighbors ALOT! Especially the ones that aren't considerate to the people below them. The surrounding Apt. Complex is very quiet.
