The apartments are not insulated in any shape or form. The complex is situated immediately across from the Amtrak train depot and when the trains come through (at all hours of the day and night), it sounds like they're rolling through your apartment. The trains at night blow their whistles/horns excessively and I have had to sleep with silicone earplugs at night to get a decent night's sleep.

And because of the lack of insulation, there is a serious mold problem. Apartments have constant water leakage problems that aren't contained within the leaking unit -- oh, no! The water seeps into the adjacent apartments and hallways and floods them too! We have lived at this hellhole for two years and are finally getting out. In the two years we've been here, we have encountered no less than *five* water floods in our apartment, the apartment across from us (where the water leaked into the hall and came into our unit three times alone) and the apartment above us which flooded the bathroom floor, our closets and the internal hallway.

The management, especially Michael Stamper, is an arrogant, Napoleonic a@@hole who is condescending in the extreme. Small wonder there is such a constant turnover in both tenants and management!

Do yourself a favor: keep looking and don't move here! You'll be sorry!

You're right. I lived at Emery Bay back in the day and Michael Stamper is a ----- idoit.
