This place is ghetto!!! Any rating with a YES recommendation is FAKE. Nobody except the management would take the time to defend this dump. I live in the Pacific Park Plaza that overlooks Emerybay Apts, and I have known several tenants there who got cheated by the deceptive management. DO NOT be fooled people...

On the contrary my good fellow, I- unlike yourself, have taken it upon myself to take a few days off work and go the the local courthouse and find out for myself. Have you done so. What I found out may suprise those that so easily critisize my home. I have lived here since 2002, and in that time YES there were issues. Did I say 2002, yes I did, but they are non-existant now. I frequently stroll around at night and find things that I myself do not like. I take it upon myself to pick up trash, I vacuum the hallway carpet in front of my door and pick up junk mail people leave in the elevators. I do not hear you participating in what is the true sense of the word "community". According to the website, there is a class action lawsuit and the author is genuinely interested in our welfare. The clerk I spoke to at the courthouse said it was one irrate resident who did not pay rent for several months and ended up being evicted and moved to Park plaza where he got arrested for pandering- a matter of public record available to all that seek the truth. Find out for yourself before you rely on harsh words from globally unhappy people. I am sure you are a valued resident that goes out of his/her way to assist in any way possible at Park Plaza. For this I am grateful and hope to run into you help you out as I'm sure you would most likely like to do to me. |

Michael, is that you?? Sorry, but I'm not a janitor and that's what I pay outrageous rent for, is to have someone vacuum the halls (which they are very good about.) This is a fake post by management who told me to stay away from park plaza b/c he went to the courthouse and checked it out and basically told me first hand what this post says. So pathetic.

it's reality, all appartment complex managers are usualy ass's. they just do it so they don't gata pay rent, and they get paid. it's gana be like that any were. and i know a lot of people in emery bay app. who have no problems at all. if you are looking for a problem then yes, you will usualy find one. nothings perfect. if you find a rusty nail then through it away, that would be nicer then the stupid picture. or get some one to do it. if you want somthing done you will most likely always have to do it your self. the manager is dealing with at least a hundred other people. you guys want to make a point then organize yourselfs and dont hit up the managers at the same time. set a potiton or somthing. your problem isn't any more or less then a hundred other peoples so dont expect it to get done right away. i'm just tryin to help cause i'm gana move in and i have definatly seen worse. realy it's not that bad. i wouldn't call it heaven but you should try living in L.A. some time. i'm sure some parts of the complex are worse then others, and realisticly it's the owners and investors that have the final say in doing major repairs, and i tell you they will always be trying to save a penny were every they can. if it's too much for you to handle then move. look at the contract. there has to be a clause that states if at any time the living conditions are un-liveable that the contract is in one way or another nul and void. don't be a freekin winey push over. you will never get what you want. i might hate it there but i might also be indiferent. or ask to be moved to a different building.
