From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/17/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005 1 response   What am I doing up at 1am you ask' I'm up because the fire alarm (yet another false one of course) has been going off for over an hour. Our new baby is crying, the cat is freaking out and the loud buzzing is slowly driving me insane. I have an awful headache now too. It has been an eventful weekend here at Dumpy Bay. Awoken at 5:30am Friday morning by loud rap music booming outside my window in the visitors parking lot. After I looked out and witnessed what appeared to be a drug deal I called security. Then last night I was unable to return to my apartment because the entire power was out on all parking levels and most buildings rendering it impossible to get home. Now this stupid alarm. I feel like taking a baseball bat over to the next building and taking care of it myself. But this is just the day in the life of emerybay if you decide to move here. NOISE NOISE AND MORE NOISE. I am moving in one week and could not be more overjoyed. Oh, and I have looked and looked throughout the entire bay area for apartments. This "bleeeep" hole is majorly overpriced and I wish you the best in not getting suckered in. RUN. Run as fast as you can and don't look back. Maybe tomorrow there will be another shooting (as this has happened in the past) or perhaps a mugging. I know what is always a guarantee though. Someone will be parked illegally (right below the "do not park" sign) behind my assigned parking spot rendering it impossible for me to pull in and out. That's always a go. Run.
