Do Not Live Here. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/9/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2006 1 response   If you have a child, a pet, are light sleepers, own a nice car or have more then one car, have patio furniture and are intolerant to heavy air pollutants from the 80 freeway next door then âDo Not Live Here. They are now selling these apartments as condos. The plumbing needs to be completely replaced, which they will not do to the âNewâ polished turd apartments they are trying to sell. More then five times I have awoken to my kitchen overflowing with filthy food filled water coming up from my kitchen sink from the upstairs neighborâs apartments. Where your assigned parking spot is down stairs, on the garage ceiling toxic rusty water drips down onto your cars that ruins the paint. They have hired the cheapest slowest migrant contractors and are replacing the basics (paint, kitchen & carpets.) I should know â it has been a complete construction zone here. The fire alarm system goes off daily. The decibels of the alarm inside your apartment will cause hearing loss in yourself and certainly a child. The security here is pretty good until your car is broken into. My car was broken into twice. This complex is next to the Amtrak Railroad station. The tracks are appox. 90 ft. away. The train whistle is not charming when it sounds like it is in your living room. On the other side of the complex is the 80 freeway. The traffic there id usually at a slow crawl, the emissions of car and diesel exhaust blow through your open windows. Most weekends helicopters are overhead shining lights down in the neighborhood searching for whoever. They are raising the rental prices in buildings six through eight 20% from what I pay now. They are not improving the âNon-Bridgewaterâ side of the complex. It is a total rip off. Take my word for it, you will regret living here.
