Stop writing fake positive reviews or at least change them up a little. it's a little obvious when you are pretending to be a tenant addressing another tenant about a complaint they have... especially when the grammatical structure and the ratings you give the apartment complex are the same across the board moderately good 3's (so as not to seem too good but to still be able to inflate the poor ratings).

Most tenants who write reviews, from what I can tell, will not care about the apartment complex enough to retaliate rudely to someone who has complained about it. There are a couple of believable positive reviews that I've seen, one of which rated the management and the noise level low, and neither of them was a retaliation to another comment, but rather an actual review of the place.

otherwise, most people seem to think this place is a --------, and I agree. elevators are constantly having problems and doors don't open from the staircases. Taping the doors so that they don't automatically lock gets taken down even when the elevators haven't been fixed yet. and trust me, at least 75% of the time there is a short conversation in the elevator amongst strangers about the awful smell. It's as if you are going out of your way to keep us from getting back to our apartments. Building 8's base floor parking is taken away for "commercial reasons" with notices being put up in the elevator AFTER towing notices are placed on the cars... and whenever I see the area on my way to work or back from work or during lunch there are only a few cars parked there.

i did see someone working on an elevator earlier today but somehow they seemed to have broken it completely as the buttons don't even light anymore, and i appreciate how they STILL don't unlock the doors from the staircase and that there are no notices around the place letting us know that the elevators are out of order.

please let me know, is the whole emerybay side of the complex like this or just building 8'

I agree with the originaal poster. I lived in Emery Bay Apts 'til March of this year. The place was great when I first moved in, but in my last 18 months the place and the service just went down the toilet. I lived in Bldg 4, and the stair well in the basement was always wet or flooded, not to mentioned the smell of urine! The gym is a farse! Worse of all, in the summer there were hordes of kids from outside coming in and took over the pool. Complaints to management went unnoticed (probably those outsiders are their relatiaves)! I actually made it a point of following to see which bldg these people live. Guess what? They didn't live in Emery Bay because they packed up their towels and kids and drove off!!! And this happened all 5 times I checked those people. Worse of all, right before I moved out, 2 black kids approached me at the elevator lobby of Blgd 4 and asked if I wanna buy a pretty new looking Onkio receiver and an DVD player for 150 bucks but with no boxes or anything. When I asked where they got the things from and which apt they lived in, they left in a hurry!

Please email me at snappleisbad1@yahoo.com b/c I'm in the process of making sure this apt complex doesn't get away with how they have been handling the tenants here. Thanks!
