Rude Staff, Not well-constructed

For the cost of the rent, this place is a true rip-off. The construction looks nice, but is no more than a facade. Its always freezing in the building (colder than outside), you can hear the train at maddening levels all day, all night. As far as the general social climate, you'll do fine here...unless you are not an elitist, self-absorbed yuppie. Some of the staff members are bearable, even nice...but their policies are totally ridiculous, and because of the bureaucratic management system, the local office hasn't the power (or, perhaps, will) to bend utterly ridiculous rules. On top of the exhorbant rent they charge you, they have the nerve to extort you of another $50 dollars a month for an additional parking spot, when the parking complex is over u empty. Although I enjoy the amenities of living in such a "classy" place (pool, spa, weird pre-constructed city of the future setting a la Emeryville) I will never again live in an apartment complex. Especially when one could pay the mortgage on a house with the rent they would pay at this place.
