You don't get what you pay for

We've lived here for a year and we're moving. The actual apartments are nice, though very, very pricey. Security is a joke. Security and office staff treated us like we were serving them.
I have asked them repeatedly (at least five times) since I moved in to add our name to the intercom list. Every time, there was an excuse (our network is down, etc.). Many times they said they will do it, but to this day -- more than a year later -- our name is still not on the intercom list.
After our year lease, they sent us a letter saying we owed them a few hundred extra dollars because of a rent increase, which we were never notified of. Turns out it was a computer glitch, but it took a few phone calls and was yet another hassle.
We turned in our thirty-day notice to leave recently. I called today to reserve the elevator to move out. The lady, instead of taking a minute to check our file, said accusingly, "You never gave us your thirty-day notice." Then after she checked our file, she asked, "who did you turn this in to' It wasn't added to our computer system" like it was our fault.
Basically, staff/management is disorganized and rude, especially considering how much we're paying when it's their miscommunication problem. It's really ridiculous.
When you visit the leasing office for the first time -- and up to when (if) you sign the lease, they are very, very courteous. Once you sign the lease, you'll see the incompetence and rudeness come out.
