I like it here. I have not had any problems. The facilities are very nice...I hardly ever hear the train.

trust me people, this place sucks! dog poop everywhere. and yeah they tell you its a dog friendly area, but what they don't tell you is they throw you into the section 8 location too. therefore, don't expect anything else that just the plain ghetto! As reported above, this man (as it seems) is totally just digging this girl named megan... goes to figure how many times the Courtyard at 65th street have changed their management people! And in response to not seeing even 5 people in the complex- thats because no one want to live in the over priced noisy apartment structure. Once again, i must remind you... you will see rats running around in the first floor of the courtyards, you will have break ins even in the LARGE GARAGE PARKING...

I once saw a rat in the pool. You lost all credibility when you said "I hardly ever hear the train". The trains go by very frequently (all hours of the night), they're required to blare their horn, and the apartments are immediately next to the tracks. You will hear (and feel) the trains.

The point of a person leaving a review is for them to describe their experience, not to describe YOUR experience. I have never seen a rat. I hardly hear the train. I have not noticed dog piles. If you have had these experiences, then I'm sorry for you. I have not. The heater could be a little hotter, but otherwise I have been happy here. The apt is high quality, the facilities are nice, the location is great, the staff has been very professional, and with the exception of the occasional funky smell of asian cooking, the neighbors have been nice. That's been my experience, and we are not going to negotiate just because you see it differently.

My name is Terri Howard, the manager of The Courtyards at 65th Street. Although a not so positive response, we appreciate your feedback. I would like to clarify a few points. We have not accepted dogs in over 2 years and have only a handful within the community. Our team strives to pick up behind anyone who might have forgotten their pet waste baggies a minimum of 3 times daily. Please understand that people simply walking down the street use the bushes surrounding the community. We also strive to monitor those areas. In terms of Section 8, we do not even participate in this program. I am not sure of your source for this comment. In addition we have a below market rate program which is 120% of median income. Not as affordable as you might think. Last but not least, I have overseen this community in one capacity or another for the past 3 years. I have yet to see a rat but if so have you thought maybe they were pushed to this area from neighboring construction. Just a thought. Again although some responses are negative in tone your feedback is important to us and we will take these as a way to improve upon our services in every way possible. Thank you for your time.

what do you plan to do about the train noise i find it complete crap that you people only have the windows facing the train tracks triple plated but all other windows that are still next to the tracks are not even double plated its so freaken loud you cant get used to it and ive been living here for a year and im only staying because its all i can afford but you guys should stop acting like you care about the costumers because you obviously dont as long as ive been living here i notice you guys spend money of having the damn building repainted several times. we dont need to have this place repainted constantly why dont you people use that money to triple plate the windows? or at least provide some cheap sound proof cloth that can be put over the windows they are cheap and i know this expensive place can afford it. and how do we know this positive review is even a real person living here? how do we know its not just one of your employees just trying to make the place sound good.
