Not A Bad Place to Live IF You Have An Assigned Parking Space

My only real beef with Watergate is that nobody around here ever moves their cars. Non-assigned parking spots are fairly limited, particularly where I live (at the end of Admiral Dr.), and Watergate tenants have a very annoying habit of leaving their cars parked in these spots for WEEKS and sometimes MONTHS at a time. I read in one of the reviews that Watergate management has nothing better to do than tow legally parked cars and that car vandalism here can be a problem. Heres my solution, people: move your friggin cars! If you do not drive your car regularly, then go rent a space or find a parking garage you can store your car in - otherwise, if your car gets vandalized or towed, dont start crying and complaining that this complex is unsafe or unfair because what you have essentially done is ABANDONED your car.
Aside from that, Watergate is a fairly nice place to live in. Granted, the rent tends to be overpriced, the gym could stand for an update and the roads, despite recent paving, are still plagued with potholes and big bumps that make driving more than 5mph destructive to your car. But neighbors generally tend to be friendly and quiet and the scenery can be beautiful if you have an ocean-front unit.
I dont go through management for repairs, so I cant comment on their level of service, although my limited experience with them so far has been decent. And I agree with most of the posters before me that unit quality can vary widely; my unit is one of the best apartments Ive lived in so far, but I was also shown a lot of run-down units before moving in here.
