Not the best but not the worst

I lived here for 6 months; needless to say I survived so it wasn t all that bad. When I first moved in our apartment had to be sprayed cause we found tons of cockroaches, they did tell us about that when we signed the lease though...through that 6 months we would find one or two here and there but then kill them with raid. Yuck! It is apartment living I understand but every time a loud car would drive by a car alarm would blare loudly at night. One night I looked out my window on the 3rd floor to see a Mexican resident urinating in the parking lot next to his car (he couldn t wait to get home I guess) For almost a month every Monday or Wednesday some fool would pull the fire alarm and we would be awaken at 11 pm or later, management did evict the people doing it but I happened every now and then after! We had a problem w/ our dishwasher when we first moved in and we came home to find a wire hanger shoved down our sink drain... they didn t fix it the first time, they had to come back the next day. The knobs on our stove were so old and worn we had to request new ones to not burn our food that took at least a month! They have a policy for no pets over 20 lbs but I saw a few pet pit bulls and one Siberian husky! Eek! they said they painted the apartment but we found telephone numbers written on the walls in the closet and in the kitchen and they charged us 150 dollars of our deposit to have the apartment cleaned (it didn t need it we thoroughly cleaned it) though we did get minus 200 dollars of our deposit back! The parking sucks one car reserved spot per household...!!! If you don t get there by 4 pm good luck finding close parking if you get there at midnight you have to park 2 lots over... the security is there but kinda creepy they follow you if you re a girl and don t tell you so it kind of scared me at first. I had a party once and you can t be on your patio or front door after 9pm....on a Friday''''!!!If you like Mexican samba music, polka whatever that stuff is then you'll love the free "concerts" your neighbors play you! The elevators kind of smell like pee!!!! oh yeah lock your doors we had to random non English speaking guys walk into our apartment stand there then realize oops...um get out! I could hear the people above me having intimate relations and arguing w/ their baby daddy!!!they smoked and ashed over their patio so our patio was covered in ash and the grown below was littered with butts. There are NO windows in the bathrooms so you have to shower w/ your bedroom window open and the vent on other wise you get mildew, the windows are single pained so doesnt keep heat in or out same w/ noise! If you wash your clothes at the laundry mat stay there or your clothes will be taken! most of the machines had problems. over all it wasn t that bad but I def glad it was only a six month stay, an experience for my first apartment for the most part...the only person in management that was easy to deal with was DONNA!!!She was very helpful!!!! Other than that it s up to your own personal pref. I do have to say I won t miss it though!
