I live at Eagle's Point and I don't find it a pleasant place to live in the least bit. There is a high crime rate here - for proof of that look outside your window at all the police, listen to the car alarms going off, ask any junkie in Escondido (they know where Eagle's Point is), or just stroll through the buildings watching drugs be sold. There's a lot of illegals living here as well. As for the security and maintenance being prompt it once took them almost an hour to disable a pulled fire alarm during the day. Kids are constantly setting off the alarms or breaking lights. The worst I would say is the harassment if you're female. If you wish to live here I suggest you get a bottom floor apartment so you don't have to use the elevators...they're absolutely disgusting! In all fairness I guess you can say you get what you pay for.

I live here and must say that it's not like that in my area. There are 6 buildings with over 500 apartments, so of course bad people can get under the radar, but as soon as management finds out they kick them out. There is a new courtesy patrol company, new landscapers, and the staff is proactive and reactive when they need to be. It's very quiet at my apartment, and the police patrol because Eagles Point participates in Escondido Crime-Free Apartments program.

There may be a new courtesy patrol, but at least one of them is busy cat calling girls and trying to sell drugs. The landscapers might be new, but have done nothing with mess left on the grounds from falling tree branches, leaves, or even trash that people just drop on the parking lot and grass areas. Don't think just because Eagles Point is kind of ghetto, it will save you money either. There are safer, cleaner and more pro-active communities on East Grand for the same amount of rent, if not CHEAPER. Until the illegals are taken care of, the place will continue to be a tag zone, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to actually have maintenance scrub off the offensive language that is painted on the sides of random buildings. I am just glad that once my lease expires, I will be finding a place that is more cared for, more secure and although I have seen water reclamation plants more sanitary, definitely more clean than here.
